This is one of the things I love most about living in a house with a garden: that I can just go outside, barefoot, and pick my own berries to eat with vanilla icecream.
These berries are called "smultron" in Swedish - they're sort of tiny, wild strawberries, they're absolutely delicious and my garden is covered with them. Being a city girl up until a year and a half ago, I can't even wrap my head around the luxury of having dessert waiting for me right outside my front door!
