Bloggers always write "I have the best readers in the world!". I'm sure they think they mean it, and who can blame them for being wrong? They obviously haven't met you guys. Because you are the best readers in the world. If there was a blog reader Oscar you would win, hands down, kick everyone's ass! Thank you times a billion for your support. I have no idea what I've done to deserve all of your kind words, but I'm not going to question it: I'm just going to accept that it's a true blessing.
To prove to myself that I can still put on clothes and lipstick and even smile, well, I did just that. I even put my hair up in some kind of a faux bob. It came down after a while, since I only used two hairpins (laaaazyyy), but it looked sort of cute while it lasted. If I may say so myself.
Baryshnik kept me company while I took the photos, and he decided that the view was better from the tree. Unlike Biianka, who's great at climbing up but not so much down, he's an awesome tree climber - he leaps from branch to branch like an oversized squirrel. A positively adorable oversized squirrel, I might add.
I always think that I have no fall- or winter coats whatsoever, but the truth is that I have so many it's actually ridiculous. It's just that they are all, without exceptions, black, red or navy. It's like I'm physically unable to buy a coat in any other color. I really want a camel one, one in a deep burgundy and one in a dark emerald green, and trust me, I've been looking for years - it's just that whever I find one I really like, they also have it in either navy, black or red, and then I end up getting one of those instead. Poor me. This is such a huge problem! No wonder I have to be in therapy every Tuesday!!! (Ha... ha... ha.)
I just now realized that my love for the colors red, black and navy is pretty visible in this outfit. I feel like especially red and blue items are always begging me to be matched with eachother. And who am I to say no? They do look fabulous together!
i love the coat and that hairdo suits you very well. so sophisticated! and i'm glad you're feeling better! <3
ReplyDeleteLovely coat and your cat is so adorable keeping you company up there <3
ReplyDeleteSo glad ur more cheered up :) I really am!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit, I'm looking for leopard tights for months but I'm not finding the perfect ones (i.e. like the ones u have there!). H&M in my country apparently does not have them :(
P.S. I love that music, so beautiful! like all the work of José González, what a voice :)
xo,
Inês
Yay, new look :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad you're cheered up again.
I was a little afraid you wouldn't, but luckily you did.
I would be very sad if I didn't have a new post to read every day. I has become kind of a part of my day, reading a new post, every day becoming a little more amazed about the person you are.
The coat is great, and you reminded me that I should buy some new tights. Well, next month. I'm kind of broke right now. Well, I always am. I try to save but then there's sale and well..
Anyway, this is pointless chit-chat about me, and I just wanted to say I'm glad you're cheered up. I'm hopeless.
Love,
Meia
Åååh, José González <3
ReplyDeleteMånga kramar till dig, tacktacktack för en fin blogg!
Haha, I thought once more that you've finally been to the hairdresser ^^
ReplyDeleteYour cat is really cute, mine is living in my flat and she's really not good for climbing, she's so awkward XD
By the way, I'm in love with your bag and your white Docs!! So nice!

ReplyDeleteI saw the previous post too late but I want you to know that I am with you, too, just like all those supportive people here. I have written it earlier but I will say it again: live the way Fanny would like you to. And I am sure that she would be happy to see you like this - beautiful, smiling, wearing nice clothes and great make-up.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute smiling! I think I also have a problem with black coats and jackets(as well as red ones) but as they are so easy to combine... ♥
ReplyDeleteLove the song as well xoxo
Amazing look! like it!

I know you prefer comments in english, but I really must say it in swedish; "Du är så galet vacker! Helt sinnesjukt"
ReplyDeleteYes, I could write it in english as well, but that true feeling in writing it didn't come out in english. It had to be swedish.
You're amazing
You look amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteWe love your boots and tights (:
xx.

Hehe..I love the peek-a-boo cat in the tree:) And the outfit is gorgeous! What a cool idea to pair the leopard print tights with the bright white Doc Martens.
Kram Malin
Beautiful girl! I really like the coat!
ReplyDeleteI always buy black or grey coats, although I want to have a camel or blue one. But I always think: "Black fits with erverything!" and I end up buying another black coat or jacket.
You're worth every bit of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree about the hair, it looks really cute done up like this (it looks great whatever you do with it really).
sometimes it seems like lipstick has a way of making me feel better. the act of getting dressed, & stepping outside, even if i go back in, 5 minutes later. i don't know. maybe it's perceptive, or something. or maybe it's just a brand new day. or maybe it's a reflection of appreciation. or maybe i was tired, & hungry, & i needed time to eat & rest, from all the chaos, i didn't know i was in, or being overwhelmed with.
ReplyDeleteI love the faux bob... you look so gorgeous! It makes me so happy to hear YOU so happy. We love you Annika darling!
ReplyDeleteI love your coat!! so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI feel very heartwarmed to read this post. I was worried about you after the last one, but I completely understand a person's time to grieve. I've been told that sometimes if you force yourself to smile, that after a while you smile genuinely. I wish you all the genuine smiles possible! I'm sure the pain hasn't gone away, but you sounds loads better already. :)
ReplyDeleteyou look amazing in that outfit! very lovely! and oh my i love that song! jose gonzalez is amazing! you should check out ellie goulding's cover of that song, i love it! hope all is well! :)

You look cute, and I actually thought you had cut your hair. Read your last post. It pains me you feel that way, cause I kind of know what it's like. But as you said, it will come another day when things feel differently. We just have to go with it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think you're awesome. Xoxo
ReplyDeleteI really like this outfit! So glad I found you on Chictopia! Your style is really cute! Definitely following!

Aw. Brilliant and so strong of you! :) It's harder to get dressed, go outside and meet the world, than be inside alone. I myself had one of those mornings today when I was just so stressed and anxious from something as banal as uni group work (lazy buggers) that I started the day throwing up. So, I somehow managed to put my dr martens on and take myself to a beautiful English manner house + gardens for some fresh air (literally speaking). Now I'm back home, making a cup of tea, ready to be productive in a calm way. Love x /emma
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I love your leopard tight with your white Doc Martens! Perfect! <3

ReplyDeleteHere is my blog :)
You look sooooo cute and your cat is sooooo sweet !
Åh jag som precis satt och tänkte att jag saknade kattbilderna. Blev dock orolig att det var Biianka som klättrat upp där igen! :)
ReplyDeleteone of the first posts I've read on your blog, if not the first, was when one of your cats got stucked in tree and you sent the other one for it :) I didn't realize there are cats who know how to climb down, until a tiny one got lost in my yard and climbed the trees up and down like a madcat :)
ReplyDeletehaha, your cats are awesome. I think that faux-bob suits you really well! Maybe an idea for a new hairdo when you're tired of your long locks ;) ?
ReplyDeletedu är så fin och din outfit också :)
ReplyDeleteså bra att du mår bättre! :)
I have the same problem with coats. Except that i need/want a black one. But whenever i find one theres a colurful one to:)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that you're smiling again! wish you all the happiness in the world, Annika <3
ReplyDeleteOh, and you look fabulous in that combo! Wish I had your bag... <333
