Saying I'm not really a party girl would still be a gigantic understatement. Not that I don't like to go out and have fun with my friends - but ever since we moved out to the countryside a year and a half ago, and especially since we got our kitties, going out has become somewhat of a project that I very rarely have the energy to commit to. The upside is that when I do, I usually enjoy myself times a thousand!
My little sister Amanda turned 18 in July and yesterday we decided to go out together for the first time. She borrowed my sensationally sparkly Disco Pony blazer, I curled my hair and put on some kind of mod inspired outfit, and we went to a party that a group of my old and dear friends were throwing on a boat in the Stockholm southern harbor. (Photos to be posted!)
I will admit I felt a tad bit overdressed on our way to the party... but when we got there some guy told me I reminded him of Kate Bush, and I felt quite awesome again.
Beautiful outfit! Love your jacket, your hat and your satchel! xxx

I know what you mean :) I'm usually a couch potato and I don't go out too much, but when I do I enjoy myself so much! You look spectacular btw, and I'm in love with your satchel.

You look luminous in these photos - beautiful background, and beautiful Annika! The leather satchel is my favourite detail, especially as it compliments all those hints of red.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I think being compared to Kate Bush is pretty awesome. I really want to do a shoot inspired by her at some point, as she was such a unique figure. Her Aerial album is sublime.
love love love the shoes! i got my doc martens since two weeks (in black) and i'm really in love with them. my plan is to get white ones and pink ones, too. (when i have enough money..haha)
ReplyDeleteyou remind me of a college girl. in providence..in yale or brown or something. and it's fall. haha

Really? Not a party girl? That is not what one would say after seeing the homemade video of you jumping up and down in our kitchen, shouting "WOOO, WOOO..." and holding an greedily eye on that jumbo bottle of champagne M is about to open.
ReplyDeleteI'm just saying!
Amazing boots.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about partying. I never do it anymore x__x It's just too much of a production.
ReplyDeleteBut I love this outfit :) the shoes and the red lipstick are gorgeous!
